Stories of Research: Video Production

Overview

In association with the EPS Graduate and Researcher Development team.

In this workshop we look at how you can use your recording device (smart phone, dslr or video camera) to record and edit video and audio for a short film.

We will look at:

• Shooting sequences
• Composition and framing
• Recording sound
• Editing in free cloud based tool weVideo
• Export settings for youtube

There will be NO EQUIPMENT PROVIDED by the course organisers

To get the full benefit of this course you need to bring:

• A charged device that is capable of recording video and audio
• A laptop or tablet to edit your video
• A USB cable or other method to transfer the footage from your device to your laptop or tablet
