We welcome your creativity in regards to the interactive element of your interactive research demonstrations. However, some potential suggestions include:

3D visual displays
Please note that your display must fit within the following dimensions: H 2 m; W 2.5 m; D 1 m. Please indicate the amount of space you anticipate that your interactive display will take up when you submit an entry. You should also provide notes detailing the content (what is it?), design (what will it look like?), delivery (how will it be interactive and who will be delivering it?) and specific requirements (do you need electrical sockets etc.?). Please consider whilst designing your demonstration that we cannot allow any displays which impact upon the health and safety of the presenters or showcase attendees. Any designs which are deemed to be too risky will be rejected by the committee. Please get in touch if you have any queries about the feasibility of your idea.
Your interactive research demonstration will need to be manned throughout the showcase event (10:00-15:00). Hence we are happy to receive submissions from small teams or research groups, of up to 6 people. When submitting an entry please select one person to act as the corresponding author who will apply and handle communication on behalf of the group.
If you would like to participate in the interactive research competition, please submit a title (no more than 50 words), a short abstract/caption of up to 300 words and supporting notes briefly describing the interactive element you wish to present.
Please note that we cannot accept any liability of loss or damage to any components of the interactive display. Presenter(s) take full responsibility for their display and its contents.
