One of the aims of PSRS is to reward excellence, and hence the following prizes will be awarded for each of the three Faculties (Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health; Faculty of Science and Engineering and Faculty of Humanities) at the University:
- Winner: £250
- Runner-up: £100
